I do love to watch something in order. I'm on board; it will be next up after I finish my 2024 watches. Some lists start with Castle of Cagliostro, and some don't. Should that be first or nah? (And if it should, do I need to do any Lupin III homework?)
I have never watched the series that he co-directed, but I really like The Castle of Cagliostro! And I think the film does an excellent job at getting to what Lupin is all about.
Kiki was my favorite as a kid, then Spirited Away as a teenager, then I watched Howl’s Moving Castle during the pandemic and it immediately became my new favorite. I have a ton left to watch though, so who knows what will happen

If we're extending the list to Ghibli in general, also special mention for When Marnie Was There.
This looks promising, but I haven’t read it quite yet.
