I was told it would take several months for a decision to be made. It feels like they didnt even fucking review it and just auto-denied me. I am not surprised given Current Events but this has really ruined my day tbh

It was my initial application.. This system is so frustrating. Im gonna appeal it by my hopes are not very high. I dont even qualify for food stamps apparently

I got one for my case, which i believe helped my chances. it just unfortunately took an entire year from my initial application for me to be accepted..

I will prolly need one tbh... I wish I started this process years ago. Shouldnt have listened to those talking me down from applying, telling me I wouldnt qualify or im wasting my time etc. Looking back it was mostly abusive. My bio family likes to invalidate every struggle I face.
