This became obvious during the pandemic when schools urgently sought out ventilation upgrades.
Around half of school districts have since spent ESSER $$ on facility improvements.
These building inspections contain, notably, information on the condition of heating, ventilation, and AC systems, as well as dates of replacement.
E.g. 18.3% of Black students and 17.6% of Hispanic students, as compared to 13.7% of White students, attend schools with inadequate ventilation.
