Car furries! Help a skunk out. It's coming time to look for a new (used) car & I'm not really loving what I see. Ideally, I'd like a reasonably priced 2 Dr. coupe, or a sporty sedan but most things look ugly & bloated. Does Honda still make a 2 door? Maybe Mazda? So many ugly SUV hybrids out there - ThreadSky

Most manufacturers have long discontinued their 2 doors unless you go for a sporty rear wheel drive model like a Mustang or Miata or Nissan Z or go secondhand. Sedans are also slowly going extinct. Try a Honda or Mazda or Toyota or Hyundai/Kia.

I've no idea what used prices are like in the US, but I know you guys got the Honda Civic 2dr coupe that we didn't get in the UK. Should be a nice car in Si trim :3

I'll have to see what the last years were on these, I think maybe 2015? Hoping to find something from between 2017-2020-ish, with low miles. I've heard Hondas are generally a bit zippier and more fun to drive than Toyotas, which is not hard to believe :P

Odd fact: My dad had a 1975 Honda Civic CVCC

I very recently bought myself a 2015 Civic Sport hatchback with the 1.6 diesel engine. Very economical, and the chassis is quite fun in the corners :3

If you want something between 2017-2020, your best bet is probably going to be something like a Civic SI, Miata, or 86/BRZ. Out of those 3, the Civic is probably your best bet.

Depends on the year and price range you're looking at, really, though manufacturers abandoned 2-doors early. The last 2-door Civic was 2020. The Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ is still made and are sometimes affordable used but lots of beat ones out there. Otherwise, mostly BMW and dodge in that segment.

Mazda still makes the Miata, too, but finding one priced reasonably is tricky. There's a few more sedan options, but for a sporty look I'm a bit at a loss - plenty of fun ones but most recent ones look very samey to me.
