We got the car ready, but we ended up staying when we found out our evac was a warning and not mandatory.
Then, by evening, we could see we were going to be OK, so we stayed. It looks pretty good today, but if things change, we're ready. We can be out in 2 minutes.

Thanks, Betty. It looks pretty good today. We have winds kicking up in a few hours, so today will be definitive. Once again, I'm awed by the skill of our firefighters. They did amazing work yesterday.

So far, so good. The firefighters got a lot of work done yesterday, that's for sure! We're supposed to have winds kick back up later this morning, so🤞
We'll see what happens today but I think We're all going to be OK in Santa Clarita.

Better. Much better. It's windy, but they got enough of a handle on it last night it didn't blow up today when the winds picked up.
