Why in year 5 of the pandemic does WHO's IPC "update" for "comprehensive COVID-19 prevention & control" limit its recommendations to "suspected and confirmed COVID-19 cases"? This statement alone denies asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 transmission, which by now we know, with certainty, is significant.

I believe we had Covid in October. My poor dad was in the hospital for 6 days. He came down w/ a cold, my mom, brother, my daughter and myself came down with it.
My daughter had to go to urgent care for chest tightness and they dx’d her with Covid.
