Yes! It originated in the US so I assume Morels is the original name. Morel mushrooms aren't *common* here but maybe moreso than there? Or maybe it was a trademark issue.
I’ve been meaning to organize some shelves by theme! and it’s funny because I particularly wanted a shelf for these games in particular (and to do a mushrooms & morels video) once I was able to procure the ones we’re missing!
Well then that is nothing but *very* practical, so the german in me approves!
However, thematically you should place them all over the house as the "fruits" connected through the "mycelium" of bg-love in your home. Or maybe in a circle...
Oh yeah I could list at least this many games on my shelf that have mushrooms *in* them without being *about* mushrooms! Off the top of my head - Forest Shuffle, Flourish, Earth, Nocturne...
Tight on space so I can’t store all my post-apocalyptic games together, except my Fallout games. Just out of shot, the excellent Fallout Shelter also by @afischergames.bsky.social.
Ours are alphabetical, which I wasn't entirely on board with, and led me to threaten after rearranging them "Great, I'm going to buy a game that begins with 'C'

What's your fav of the mushroom themed games you have? I'm pretty mushroom obsessed but haven't actually tried any of the games with that theme..
Mycology & the Mycelia on the bottom just arrived, and I haven't gotten to play them yet!
I did BGGspring for the first time last year, and that was fun, albeit small.
What do you think of the Mycelia at the bottom? We backed it after meeting the designer at UK Games Expo last year, and are very impressed.
I did however group all the cooperative games together.
This is probably a temporary shelf but it has a practical purpose: I am going to try to play them with folks from my local mushroom club!

The rest of my collection is color coded or designer based, but space games get their own spot.
*actually “Star Wars Risk” but that name doesn’t match the actual game. Hasbro goofed that one.
