I got into disc golf through Wingspan so it's nice that others are taking the reverse route!

(Picked up a couple Wingspan discs and a putter when Stonemaier started selling them and we finally decided to try it out at the Cape Henlopen course and been hooked ever since.)

One of the Jomez commentators for the women's division (FPO) is a biologist and she and her co-/commentator often talk about birds and other nature on the courses they're playing. They also name the act of getting four birdies in a row after a local bird each tournament.

Neat! I keep looking for events to vend that are not traditionally game related. I've been going to a lot of weird themed fairs. We have very approachable games, so it's going pretty well.

When I pursued solo gaming as a new hobby in 2021, I was drawn in by watching vids of celebrities playing games- my fav was Andy Weir winning at Tiny Epic Galaxies on Wil Wheaton’s YT channel.

Apparently Cardi B is a big fan of history… I’ve told Fred Serval to try and contact her about games.

Disc golf is a fantastic way to take a walk in forests in places that don't normally have good hikes! Would highly recommend. Low barrier to entry (just need one disc) and an insanely friendly community
