Since you’ve been so nice I’ll give you an exclusive: S3 debuts the ‘Stunning’ weave, delivered by Siuan to Joiya and Amico when she frees herself of their Shielding weave towards the end of the 301 cold opening.

2/ One smaller visual thing I've always pictured/wanted to see in the show was "holding" the One Power & that they'd have like a mild glow around them, bc it was important in instances like knowing if someone was a threat or on guard for ex.

I absolutely love how you've taken the book descriptions as inspiration. And the weaves look so cool, especially in the cold open of 301! The whip, the saw blade/shuriken, just incredible detail. I can't wait to rewatch and see more of those little details.

2/ We were quite literal in our interpretation from the books with descriptions of 'threads of One Power’. In the show we have 'streams' of Channeling, containing dozens of light emissive threads, that flow around a Channeler in mid air

3/ We wanted our threads to be light emissive as it signifies a power or energy, plus it looks effective on screen. Each ethereal thread is broken up with different levels of opacity along it, supplemented with luminant 'accents' that add variation, interest and flowing movement

4/ I always wanted our threads to be light emissive as it signifies a power or energy, plus it looks effective on screen. Most of the five powers, except for Spirit, also have some sort of particle emittance which represents that elemental power.

5/ We were eager to introduce the 'weave' aspect of Channeling into S3, structures formed with the magical threads to create a One Power event e.g a Fireball. Whenever reading the books there were descriptions of 'weaves' or 'flows' being used to create a One Power event
