Asking for people's opinion.
When presenting slides in YT video, should I
- appear onscreen, partially obscuring slides (but move out of the way when needed)
- make the slides smaller, so not full-screen but not obscured
- make me tiny to not obscure
- not appear onscreen?

Your appearance also masks an area telling the viewer to focus on what’s visible. Making is fine and can actually help. But just make sure to consider this when designing slides.
If you are tiny and in your own frame it appears to me, that we both are looking at the slides which I find helpful. In such an overlay you look at me while I look at the slides and I like the other situation better.
The only need to be stood up in front of the board, is if you are drawing on it
For me, whilst he is annoying at times, I think it gets the balance just right
