Tesla's can/are remotely controlled in Oz across a variety of VPPs. Sorry 4 reply guying, the misinfo in this article irritated me, it's an area I work in. The"expert" in the story lacks sufficient implementation experience in the battery orchestration space to make a good article as a solo voice.

We wouldn't even be talking about grid batteries if not for Tesla
I do think the Australian Government should review the subsidies for Tesla batteries if the product does not meet the outcome desired
Especially if unlocking features is all that is required

Indeed the Hornsdale reserve got the ball rolling. With CATL featuring heavily nowadays. What amazes me is that people still refer to the Powerwall as the benchmark for home storage, when multiple products are easily half the price and offer more storage.
