Australia's probably-future-PM is using nuclear power as his core pro-fossil campaigning tactic - hence, the bad-faith. Stanke's grand tour of Aus is obviously helping this

I've met Stanke a few times. She's a nuclear worker. Her message is not to extend coal. She speaks about rapidly expanding clean nuclear power in addition to clean wind, hydro, solar, geothermal, etc.

Nuclear is a waste of time, except possibly in polar regions and for AI datacentres. China is rolling out renewables at the rate of 5 nuclear power station equivalents per WEEK. Its coal-fired plants are increasingly unprofitable. Storage disrupts the grid - baseload is NOT required.
