Hadley: You want to WHAT?
I'd heard this argument before, but neither of them were going to let that stop them.
F'Nar: I wish to explore the full facets of emotional experience, while at the same time minimising the risk to my own inner ballence.
She paused to tilt her head her familiar way.

Hadley: I said 'Don't knock it till you've tried it.' It's just a phase.
F'Nar: While I have no interest in 'Knocking it' I do belive that it would be intelectually dishonest to discuss a topic without having an adiquate understanding of it.
F'Nar: Yes.

Ssorel: I'm Sweden, leave me out of it.
F'Nar: Switzerland.
Ssorel: Sure, that one. I'm not getting involved.
Hadley: She wants to vicariously experience MY feelings!
Hadley: They aren't supposed to be felt by somebody else.
Ssorel: Then refuse her, she's your partner Rebecca, not mine.
F'Nar: If you are not comfortable with doing so, I will ask somebody else if they would be willing.
Hadley: No! I.. ...no, I don't have the right to say that.
F'Nar: But you do not wish me to?
Hadley: No!
F'Nar: Then I will not. Your emotional wellbeing is more important to me than my intelectual curiocity.
Hadley: No I... ..look, this is why I don't want...
F'Nar: It will not.
Hadley: Yes, it will. You'll know how I feel about things, about us.
F'Nar: If your feelings would drive a wedge beween us, then it is better to discuss that now before it becomes an issue.
