There's a saying in my community to stay, "prayed up." I think in this Bluesky community, we need to stay, "packed up," to commune with like voices in this vast, confusing, misleading, alt-reality of social media. Thanks for the pack!

I remember standing on line at the newsstand on 7th Ave S on Wednesdays to get the Voice first and then running to grab a pay phone. If you were looking for a cheap apartment, you had to be quick. Anyone remember the East Village Other? It didn't last as long as the voice, but it was great.
