I literally just did this today. Dropped $20 on tokens to try and win a little ICEE plush toy. Was 100% sober. Not my proudest moment.

I'm at a gaming convention, and they brought in some proper Japanese UFO Catcher machines. I bought $20 worth of tokens and was so convinced that I was going to win, I tried to keep my eye out for a lucky kid to get my extra tokens.

There were no leftover tokens.
