There's a gap in the market calling Ur name for all the other terrible gamers out there!!!! 😂😂 Hehe it's well deserved U have a cool set up! Don't be shy!!!
You have far too much confidence in my ability to entertain. Two straight hour of me falling off ledges and getting one-shot while cursing is likely not what the people crave
The closest I've played is Marvel Rivals so far, I don't have any shooters on my PC. I imagine you'd still run into the spread out hud problem, where depending on where stuff is it's hard to monitor.
My shit's a little busy but I hoard things like a dragon so a cluttered surround just feels right. I do love looking at peoples SUPER CLEAN battle stations. I hope you get yours exactly the way you want it!
If a games UI isn't more centrally located it's kind of a pain in the ass to check like health, ammo, etc. but brief adjustment period makes it less noticeable. Cheers!
Great setup. How different is the wide screen compared to multiple monitors, always been sceptical of splitting apps on the same screen. And have 20 years of ALT + TAB muscle memory installed..
I still use the alt tab to flip between active windows, or like if I'm gaming to switch to my discord or whatever on the other monitor. but you can fit a CRAPLOAD of stuff on this thing with no bezel in the middle which is my favorite part.
Am really tempted to try one, the 1k price tag is putting me off a bit as I have a curved 27”. Plus I might have to upgrade all the kids PCs for Win11, or go Linux if possible..
if this thing was full price I think I would have just continued waiting and fantasizing about it. my Asus 27" works just fine. but I wanted to get on top of it before tariffs make electronics way more pricey.
Is it because the mouse and keyboard don't match? I was going to go for an all white setup but then I got a good deal on a black pc and just said fuck it.
I've had this one on my "definitely gonna buy someday" list since the first iteration came out. then the neo, then the oled. but the price has always made me a little queezy
I agree it is a little bit far, but generally my social stuff is fairly quiet so It's cool to chill over there until I get pinged. I'm glad you're enjoying it, I've been eyeballing one for YEARS.
Upgrades, people. Upgrades. I don't think I'd go back either. Maybe that bigass 55 in. monitor samsung has. the one that for SOME reason can still be turned vertical.
I've seen a setup that was One 49" ultrawide, and then one of those 55 behemoths on either side, and aside from the astronomical price, I can't for the life of me figure out what you'd use that for.
Indeed that is the case, you would simply have black bars to adjust the aspect ratio to a supported size. It hasn't happened with any of mine yet but I also don't have a ton of games on my pc. I hope this helps!
Im working on the whole funko collection. But the majority that I don't have are either limited editions from conventions I didn't go to or are simply rarer.
Man BG3 alone would make for a great pre-holidays Saturday, but the setup catapults it into the stratosphere 💫 Using the space under the monitor for merch etc. is so cute. Enjoy!
I don't have a shelf for my godzilla funkos so they're just chilling there for now. I'm only missing a few now, but most of them are SUPER expensive. Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it!
I usually play paladin or fighter, and flippity flop between teifling and dragonborn. My two solo characters are Bricke Scheizehaus the teifling paladin, and Char Ashnoble, Dragonborn fighter! What about you!?
I played a dnd campaign for 5yrs and now just got a machine to run Baldurs. My first character is from that campaign a half-elf ranger named Jia based in survival/stealth. Then I have a drow named Umbra (latin for shadow) who is a sorceress who wondered the darkness before finding an ancient patron.
Yeah it was pretty salty, but i got a good deal on sale and no interest for 2 years since I already have a best buy card because I have a problem with splurging on electronics.
But when you turn to 50ish you will have higher chance to lose eye sights. In order to prevent, perhaps, lower the brightness, make your eyes be adjust that, too.
Oh, that's bad. (Side story, Triphala, 500 mg shows visible disappearance of fogginess to my dogs eyes little by little, following what Vet said. So, now it is I who take it religiously for myself. ^_^ ) Merry Christmas & Happy New Year ~
Its a gift from my parents. Hopefully I can have my extreme near sightedness corrected while they're at it. Merry Christmas to you and Happy New Year! I wish you fortune and good health!
I want to say 29" there's a slot for wires in the back so it's not entirely usable for treasures. It's a secretlab magnus. The static one, not the standy desk.
It's the biggest one I've ever used. I was just using my 27" before. I still like it because it's the Gundam edition, so I use it for my social media and music stuff while I'm gaming.
Thank you! Unfortunately our budget I have STUPID expensive tastes. A good workhorse is just as respectable. My secondary is my Gundam edition Asus and it was my only monitor for like two years. I won't ditch it until it dies.
As an OLED owner I wanted to chip in and say that short of doing *literally zero* of the OLED friendly things like hiding taskbar and having a screensaver *and* then using it for highly static content, you should be all good!
My AW3225QF has absolutely zero burn in after 6 months of heavy use.
Entirely down to the tech. QD-OLEDs latest text rendering is great (atleast the current gen of panel on mine makes it a non issue) but I know WOLED has had text rendering issues according to some friends. That’s apparently down to the tech not maturing, as woled should be better.
Thanks ahahaha, also good to know, I had a pretty annoying burnin in my old S7 with the battery icon, so since then I've been pretty cautious about oled
Oh fuck, I am so sorry to hear that! I hope your next run is successful! I've not done an honor run yet, but I'll probably try it after I do a durge campaign
Would be way better than anything I could make, I technically "program" a robot for work but it's really more like driving a robot than wizarding thinking instructions.
I appreciate it, friend! I've been piecing it together for like two years. I'm like three or four things away from having everything I want. Please do not follow me for financial advise
hopefully you can snag some stuff with like holiday sale prices or new year sales to cash in on that sweet sweet christmas money. I wish you luck in building the perfect setup for you!
Amazing setup. My home office has two curved wide screens instead of one but want to add the portrait style monitor as well but my cats would complain about a lack of access point 🤣🤣
The ultrawide is a Samsung Odessey G9 OLED, the vertical is an Asus, I forget the model, but it's the only one they did a gundam collab on. I've not had any issues with burn in with either one.

Settled on adding a 24” curved to go with the existing 27” curved and my old Asus 24”. So many windows open, it’s a game changer
I think I love it even more for day to day and work use too, which I wasn't expecting. Would be hard for me to go back now!
I'm a little mad jealous.

Because I'm everyday more tempted, but I'm still worried about their durability... 👀
