Why do I think this would actually work as an episode? They all try to wiggle out of it, without letting the others down. When the truth of it all comes out, they abandon the idea. Unfortunately, the final shot and laugh track/bassline is them stumbling across your body, having not got the memo.
Reasons for backing out:
George is a coward. Elaine finds a date. Jerry decides he doesn't "believe in suicide pacts" and rants derisively about other people who made them. "You remember Annie and Fred?" *elaine makes a scrunched up face*
Kramer just gets into some odd activity and looses interest.
Elaine meets a handsome protester on the way in. George gets banned from the facility after the initial interview. Kramer asks if they’ve got a thiopental guy after the EU ban, ends up with an Interpol red notice. Jerry secretly planned to fake it and die an hour later in a celebrity suicide center.
"A Curling tournament? What about our Pact?"
*distracted, practicing sweeping with Jerry's broom.* "Huh? Oh the Pact... The Pact! Yeah, sorry I can't make it. Hey, you know on the Ice, they say, 'If you keep sweeping, even a slow rock finds the button."
*Taking the broom* "Keep sweeping George!"
Seinfeld is what I was taught Hell was. An existence completely devoid of warmth, compassion, empathy and true connection. Nothing for the heart or spirit.
"go into the west" is a great euphemism for it. Gladriel, Elron, Gandalf, and Bilbo all sitting on a doc blissed out from injecting lethal amounts of morphine while the sun sets
