Do you generally like the quality of the yarn that you get online? It’s becoming an increasingly expensive habit for me, and I’m wondering if I could do better.
These days I mostly knit to have something to do with my hands 😅 so I'm not the one to ask about yarn quality. I'm not even sure what half these yarns are made of thanks to the language barrier 🤦♀️
I have had that problem, so I looked though old cardies & jumpers that I had stashed in the back of the closet without the heart to throw them out (some my late husband's).
Frogging, washing, hanging up with weights, drying, re-balling.
Voila- fresh yarn waiting for patterns.
I don’t buy online unless I know the particulars of it - I’ve used it (or felt it) previously. And, I’m so not a yarn snob - besides, I knit that much that I have to keep costs down or else I couldn’t afford it. I’d say go with what you know so you’re not disappointed (and richer)
