I enjoyed the early books in the sense that I love really tropey trashy trash but yeah, the characters aren't particularly a high point in any of her books

I haven't read crescent city yet, this makes me think I should just get it from the library instead, so if I hate it after the first half hour I can just send it back 😂
Oh no hahahaha well I'll keep that in mind 😂 I do have approximately a million other books I have paid actual $$ for to listen to first so I should probably get on that
