39 here, And working on an autism diagnosis. I feel both relieved and so very angry at the same time. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Like I've been fumbling around in the dark my whole life and somebody turned on a light for me. But I also feel so angry that I was failed

Isn’t it funny how all the people we followed on TT, before we were diagnosed, ended up also being ND? Like that app grouped us all together and said “hey, here’s your people!” (And Pedro edits for your perusal!)

I feel that anger, so much. So many lost opportunities, friends, money… all of it.

I had a similar thing happen in my real life. I got diagnosed, then one of my best friends got diagnosed and another of my best friends started to self-diagnose..... We peer-reviewed each other. We're all on the Spectrum
I'm so grateful for everyone I found on there. Y'all changed my life. 💜💜💜💜💜

Got mine at 47, still working through all the things and I’m soon to be 50. Of all the audio books I read on the subject ADHD 2.0 was my favourite. I found it the most informative and helpful.

Welcome! It’s tough but it can be wonderful too. Any emotion that you feel is valid. Learn what you can but don’t feel you have to learn everything all the time, it can get quite exhausting.
