I hate to say this, but as much as this game was meme’d on and made into YTP videos, why didn’t they just get DiC to animate it? Would have looked a lot less ugly. Gotta love that 80s Saturday morning cartoon look.

The game still sucks ass tho.

Well honestly that's a good question if you'd ask me. For all I know that the cutscenes were animated by Animation Magic at the time. Which surprisingly also contributed to an obscure DOS game gem, and that is Darby the Dragon. (1/2)

While you do get the point that the game is bad. But, honestly when it comes to cutscenes in mind, I think it'd be a good idea though certain people could think that Hotel Mario is considered the lost episode of SMBSS.

So yeah, you do have a point and found one of the reasons why I did this. (2/2)

I mean I get the point of the gameplay, to feel like one of the old arcade games, but its so monotonous and sometimes the arrows for the elevators don't make sense and the goal of closing all the doors gets tedious when enemies randomly come out of the doors and open them again.
