wahhhhh, that line hits hard with us
bwaaa
im glad clair is giving achilles a chance to prove his silly self
2) he is SO excited to be a businessman like cmon clair how can you not love him!!
3) the bg squares 👀 remembering theories about squares being symbolic of clair's way of doing things, so branching off from that:
-squares in clair's panel look more diamond shaped, like her system is being challenged / changing ever so slightly
Clair can be cold at times but I'm glad she wasn't hard-hearted here.

She does feel for the residents, they are all her work technically, but when she turns around and purposely makes one a certain way that then doesn't work "how it should", i think she gets hit pretty hard with guilt.
It's the feeling of being a bit behind everyone else, knowing that there are certain things one "ought" to be able to do, but that just don't seem to come naturally.
I see *so* much of myself in this dialogue.
But, like with many other characters in many other works, sometimes you see quite a bit of yourself there. Once again, this panel hit me in the heart.
