NATO, like the League of Nations has be one totally pointless. Large scale alliances that require consensus are doomed to languish in burocratic hell

At this point it would be better for Europe if the US walked away from NATO and European states could commit fully to Ukrainian victory. Trump will try to use NATO to gaslight Europe into abandoning Ukraine and their own security.
