Same. Democrats did impeach T. Twice. And held J6 hearings. Hillary and Kamala were quite clear with their warnings I’m tired of people blaming Dems for not being able to make Republicans less awful.

During the election there were a lot of fair and reasonable criticisms of the Democratic candidates and platform. People were asked to put those aside, to vote for the lesser of two evils because the alternative was terrible and I agree with that instinct.

However, after she & the Democratic Party lost miserably there comes a time where introspection and criticism is necessary. It’s not a fluke. Not a giant error that will be corrected with time. Democrats are not doing something right and it’s important to have that conversation so they get better.

Well if we agree that we can’t or shouldn’t criticize them during an election cycle then when are we allowed to? Surely now, when the next election is nearly two years away, is a good time to discuss what went wrong and to air grievances about the party.

If we don’t have that frank and honest conversation about how our party and our leaders are not doing what they need to to win then it seems like we’re destined to repeat this in two years and then again in another four. Something no one can afford.

We need to give space to people to air their grievances and we need to listen to them so that we can better cater to their wants and needs. Democrats used to be the ones to understand that to criticize the country is not to say you don’t love it but that you want it to be its best self.

She did not lose miserably. Let’s not exaggerate. She got fewer votes than Trump but it was close. A third of the voters didn’t feel the urgency. Something tells me you’re not on level when you are so dismissive.

And all of this is coming from a guy who donated money, campaigned for, and voted for Harris. She wouldn’t have been my first choice for president and I had my qualms but I liked her. You can be suspicious or you can accept that she and the Democrats made mistakes.
