the GOP wrote an entire, several-hundred page compendium listing all the insane things they were going to do, which Democrats spent the entire campaign highlighting (often explicitly listing the ideas like "pulling the US out of the WHO"). it is entirely on a voter if they thought this was bluffing

This is also why I’m not a fan of the FAFO line of post-election shitposting. How many people actually thought they were voting to, like, ban trees in cities and to pull the US out of the World Health Organization?
