Audre Lorde was an American writer, professor, philosopher, intersectional feminist, poet & civil rights activist. A self-described "Black, lesbian, feminist, socialist, mother, warrior, poet" she dedicated her life to confronting all forms of injustice saying there was "no hierarchy of oppressions"
