Tbh, I think everyone’s first time is anxiety filled.

The other point I would make is it depends on the bathhouse in particular

Some cater exclusively to sex club so there are fewer amenities
Some are more leisure with sex possible

Club Dallas is my favorite because of the leisureness

I appreciate the insight. I would say the same is true for a clothing optional resort or beach. I went many years ago and slowly got into it. I feel when I go back, I’d be more confident.

The non - leisureness was a big turn off for me. I need a little flirting and laughing and some fun first tbh. Not much, but I hated the silence as soon as I entered. Ick

A Club Dallas like bathhouse would be good and asking a friend to go with you will help

There can definitely be silence, but when you add a a leisure aspect such as an outdoor pool and giant hot tub it’s much more inviting

Dallas is top 3 to move to post school because of Club Dallas lol

Going with a friend or someone you know and like to have fun with can help take some of the pressure off when going to a more “non-leisure” focused space (at least the first few times)

Hubby and I have been to a few. The anxiety is normal, will get better if you decide to go back. Take it at your own speed, it’s fun to cruise and watch til you get more comfortable.

I will say that I can only enjoy bathhouse when I have a preestablish meeting with someone. If I go there with no plans, I mostly enjoy the amenities or sleep there when Im too inebriated after going to clubs. It can be overwhelming if alone so I usually go with friends so I feel more secure :)

Some locations and scenes are great, and some can be lame, in my experience it depended on the crowd and what you’re in to

It can be overwhelming, but my first few times had went with a friend. I can usually have some fun when I go. Sometimes I go just so I can watch others fuck. But sometimes the vibe is off, and it sucks.
