That's the thing, parody is funniest/moste effective when it's close to the edge, but sometimes it's so close that I'm not sure it's really parody, especially these days. They may have to shelve the subtlety and be more explicit until we all feel (and are) safer.
To your point, I ran across the account a year ago. While there were ominous storm clouds on the horizon, they weren't so certain. The parody was more ridiculous like a James Comer hearing, than a real threat.
