pretty sure it was stated that the director had only planned to do adaptations of Dune and Messiah, so if the studio continues it'll be with mostly new people at the head regardless
I find them insipid and uninspired, technical marvels for sure but a hack job of spectacle and barebones ideas that makes them appear interesting and profound
