The 2018 Museum and Library Services Act, which trump signed into law, and which says Grants to States is mandatory, is only good through 2025.

With Friday’s EO, IMLS is being told they can only provide mandatory programs and services. That includes Grants to States and NLG grants, but not Laura Bush grants (they are discretionary). So there “should” be LSTA grants in 2025 but that’s when the mandatory ends. See www.imls.gov/sites/defaul...
