It's taken a stupid amount of months (almost a year minus one or two weeks, in all honesty) but I managed to draw (paint) some stuff this weekend. (At this point I reckon it's not just art block, it's like depression/rage paralysis combined w/other stuff.) My PC has been on for 72hrs, no comics tho. - ThreadSky

Sending so much love and gentle hugs if you'd like them. I know these feelings all to well and the best way I found is to do little bits when you feel able. I haven't drawn in a long while or done very much creatively due to burnout and being in survival. You'll get there 💜🫂

Thank you so much, it was a brutal 2024 and I'm still recovering TBH! And it wasn't even as brutal in comparison to others' 2024 either. I just didn't know anyone who had a great year at all.

When I think about it a lot of it stems back to 2020 because that year was absolutely awful with the changes and scariness and things are still not anywhere near back to how it was before (I don't think it ever can be) and also maybe even before then *gestures to absolute shitshow that is the world*

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having a rough time (but Kirby is so full of glee), I guess if enough nonsense happens at once it can derail your creativity, but you’ve been at it for decades, I think you’re allowed a bad year now and then.
