I’ve got to the point that I feel a move would be as good for Rashy as it would be for United. But saying that I still hold out eternal hope that he will find his form again.
If he did move on I’d wish him all the best but then be gutted to see him scoring for any other team. Mixed emotions obvs.

I think it might be best all around but we need to get a big big fee for him. He'd get a fresh start which might motivate him. We could reinvest the funds back into the squad. Obviously him being homegrown helps FFP/PSR, which would give us wiggle room

I don’t want to come across as a pessimist, truly, I don’t. Realistically, tho’, how much do you think we’d get for him? I reckon £30M tops based upon his form last season and this. Everything else he’s done counts for squat now! He’s been dropped from England too.

He would be a big name if PSG signed him it would be big news and very exciting for the fans. He needs to knuckle down from now until the end of the season either way. Show what he's capable to Amorim or any other suitors

I think he’s lost his way. I think for his own career he probably needs a change. Everything he does is under the microscope.
I also don’t see how he fits into what Ruben is planning.

For me he should be given a chance to prove himself this season under Ruben just like any player in the squad.
I personally think in the Left No.10 slot he will excel when we have a competent Left wing back for him to work with. His best form was when him and Shaw linked up on the left.

Likewise if he doesn't show the desire or consistency I'm perfectly ok if Ruben deems him surplus and we get a good fee for him. Ultimately we need a good squad, not just 11 good players and we need players that give us different options / styles in those No.10 roles and Rashford gives us that.

I agree, for many reasons, the main thing is form, its totally shot, and even in a more pressing team, he falls below expectations. The 2nd, is as an academy product, he's pure profit and has value. That can fund new buys and right now we need to rob Peter to pay Paul.

I'm fairly comfortable either way tbh. On his day he can still be a match winner, but he does blow hot and cold too much.

If a good offer came in, I wouldn't lose too much sleep if he departed. But equally I wouldn't want him out of the door without the deal being the right one.

That’s a very fair take James. Kudos! I always come back to SAF - the club comes first! Nobody is bigger than the club. We are currently in the shit and have been since 2011 (SAF’s last was a miracle with that squad). It’s broken and needs fixing.

Don't disagree. I think his attitude has been questionable at times, but we know on his day he can be borderline unplayable. My preference would be for the 2022/23 Rashford to resurface, but not so sure how realistic that is.

Here’s how I see it, I’m probably wrong - but maybe not! He was used to being the main man! Bruno arrived, Christ, Ronaldo came back and Garnacho puts him to shame! I think the lad’s nose has been put out of joint and he’s doing next to nothing about it, at least on the evidence presented.

Could be. Although I'd argue he'd still be the main man if his performances justified it. He's probably still the biggest 'name' at the club, in part because he's English. But Kobbie, Garnacho, Hojlund etc could all supplant him if he doesn't improve his consistency.

You’d think (I think) he would have known ETH was a goner, quite a few weeks before he was shoved. Against Ipswich, he played for 82 seconds and that was it! I accept that the lad may have mental health issues and hope he can get help. His heart isn’t in it! I’ve seen no evidence to suggest it is

The last part you are spot on, something ain’t right, don’t like how some players just perform whenever they like. Sadly all last season was the same, maybe a few adjustments like when to run and not or how many touches to take before releasing could change outlook.
