They could have it be a prequel, have Pattinson in the DCU be a Batman that’s been working for years. Reeves’s projects take place in a really short time frame anyways.

If you recast him there’s really no point in connecting it. Especially cause Pattinson is 38 now. By the time he does a trilogy he could easily play a more seasoned Batman. Heck he could probably do it now.
