Also I should note I've changed my line ups several times, gotten better units and haven't made much progress since at least November which is where I got stuck.

You really need a lot of sustain if you can't pass the DPS check (basically kill them all in order before they all get enough blood stacks), and the best bet for that is staggering your healers (one in initial 6, one on 7/8 and one as last or next last). Also, Barber and Priest should die first iirc
Gotcha! My sole healers are Ryo and Faust, I didn't manage to get the one Walp EGO for Ish in time cause I got too sick to play near the end, and I actually don't know who else can heal besides those three? I'll certain try to get the Barber down, but Dulcina I often have to try to kill as well cuz-
Her AOEs have nuked me before, which is why I've often focused her and the Barber down and worried later on the Priest, who doesn't do much damage unless I get staggered.
For reference here's my usual line up I enter with, plus a few other IDs I have at or can get to LV50 if needed as an option.
Rodyas pursuance can heal, and Sinclair's Cavernous Wailing gives a shield, although I'd recommend going for Fluid Sac uptie 4, it really makes a difference if you go the ego spam route. I haven't played with burn a lot, but seems like Envy generation might be a problem for that initial burst.
So to combat that, I'd bench FS Heath for wild hunt, his envy skill 2 is needed, and his revive passive might make a difference as well. This makes FS Hong Lu a bit weaker but he's still good standalone imo.
I'd go for the roundabout strat of putting your burn units later in the deployment order so you can farm sin resources with your generalists and hopefully get to the Solo Dulcinea part without many casualties. Then if she nukes your first set, you still have a full burn core.
