I like buying seeds now bc they are all on sale, as June is:” don’t start seeds now” month. Because, even though you may have JUST had cold weather, it is June. Don’t start seeds NOW.

But it is good “buy seeds now” time, as a lot of seed sellers are trying to dump stock towards the end of planting season. You’ll find better deals, but less variety, in august…
And, yes. Those seeds will be good next year. Prolly the year after too. In fact, if u are like me and have a smol garden, so you only start a half dozen or so of each plant (I do seedling xchanges w/friends), please know seeds can be viable for up to 5 yrs.*
*with a loss of germination rate each year, so u will prolly use a packet up in 3, though I dumped green anise seeds that are 8yrs old in a growing cell this yea n now I have anise.
