I’ diagnosed with AERD. Since one year I cannot stand any type of alcohol consumption, I feel ill in a few minutes. My doctor is not aware of this symptom. Do you have any idea?

Yes, reactions to alcohol, especially wine and beer, is common with AERD, such as nasal congestion or wheezing. My side gig is talking about microaggressions in medicine and addressing them with GRIT. I have a lot of opinions on gender equity in medicine, especially in Otolaryngology. And I won’t be remembered as a woman who kept her moth shut.
