I hate how when you buy phones/computers now, during set up you have to get through like 50 questions that are all basically "can we have your data pleaseeeeeee pretty please 🥺"

that and the active effort to hinder direct usage too, like Windows slowly disabling / hiding the option to just setup your fucking PC without login in to a microsoft account

God yeah it is so cluttered with unnecessary stuff!! And the fact that they stuff a bunch of programs on the computer that take up a bunch of storage from the get-go.. like why does my laptop need to come with the Xbox app lol

Great intro Linux distributions are Ubuntu and Pop!OS. You can always 'dual boot' too, (that is having windows and Linux both installed and choosing at boot-up). And you can try it from a 'live disk' usb on any computer without installing anything!
Ohhhh omg!! I'm not great at tech stuff but I'll definitely do more research into that - I've been curious about Linux for a while but it always seemed a lil intimidating so thank u!
