I still remember when Trump wanted it banned back in 2019 for how many users were mocking him. But then again, Biden and his administration were the ones who kept the ball rolling to get it banned. Now Trump will undo what he started to look like a hero

And of course, Trump won't "lift the ban," as claimed, he'll just do what he did back before he left office, which was to extend the 'grace period' allowed before the final decision had to be made. He'll do that again, allowing him leeway to allow it or not, depending on what will benefit him best.

And my understanding was that TikTok didn't actually HAVE to 'black out' US accounts last night when they did so. It was a deliberate decision by them to do so, using both the 'goodbye' message and the 'we're back' message to praise Trump. *sigh* We're globally dead in the water by this point.
