My husband and I also talked about the fact that if our son were to come to us at some point to come out, we would be happy that he trusted us enough to tell us. I don't know what that would be like, but I think so It's not easy to tell your parents something so important. We would be happy for him.

I could just never imagine not caring for my child just because of who she is and that’s not even just for her identify. Like she doesn’t have to do anything to earn my love. She doesn’t have to get a certain job, or love a certain person, etc. As long as she’s healthy and happy, i’m happy.

My mom still misgenders me and calls me her daughter, even after last she heard, I was coming out as trans (tho habe since realized that enby still suited me best) and that I used they/he Pronouns. It really hurts and is half the reason I've put up a boundary of not talking to her nearly as much
