It’s absolutely wild how this country has literally zero plan in place for if and when (the when is now) the president just ignores the whole checks and balances thing. Like, literally nothing.

The problem is that those that did "do it" were completely staged.
Nobody wants to actually do it GENUINELY now that he's in office doing his shit. This motherfucker ain't an untouchable god yet the country is treating him as if he is suddenly now that he's in power, it's infuriating.
Why doesn't anyone want to do it? There are people who lost their livelihood because of this guy. Surely a whole bunch of them would be up to the task?
Oh no, there are. It's just that those systems have also been corrupted. The courts, congress, the senate, any one of them could, and would step in to stop a democrat president doing the same things.
It’s rather disturbing to see this comment section just so casually and carelessly entertain the idea of a violent, deadly revolution. Even though if one was actually attempted it would most likely blow up in their face and make things worse. You guys aren’t Che Guevara or Katniss Everdeen.
Political violence looks scary as hell to regular people because don’t know what’s at stake, so it’s very easy for someone like Trump, who’s special sauce is to control media narratives, to make these violent attempts look scary to regular people and have them sign off on his worst actions.
This is the most annoying thing about being in uncharted waters with a nearly three hundred year old constitution. It was written by people who never expected someone would have been so brazenly corrupt that they would see the constitution as more of a suggestion than the rule of law.
This was what the Second Amendment was meant for. Not a blank check to give any nut a gun, but a system to establish militias that could challenge the government in the event of tyranny.
It's supposed to be the impeachment process. But that appears to be impotent in terms of use. Then it relies on people being more loyal to the constitution than the president. He did leave the Whitehouse once he was threatened with being physically dragged out. That needs constitutional loyalty
In theory, people are supposed to dig their heels in and not proceed with fulfilling illegal orders, the issue is that ol buddy and the crooked crew have their thumbs on people's livelihoods. Which is like the entire point of US capitalism
They're not (yet) restricting the 2A (they're mistake), they're weakening their own military, and they're starting to piss off enough people to the point they just might do you know what when that line is crossed.
Congress is the plan but there is no plan for a compromised Congress that refuses to do their damn jobs. Now all we can do is try to rely on the Judiciary branch... and that's still pretty iffy.
There's too many people who are either not caring because they have to focus on surviving, petit bourgeoisie who are too complacent and outright fascistic ideologues who want this to happen

Let the MAGAts eat him alive bc we know they would. The cult dismantles without its leader and he has no following in comparison.
Infact take Elon with his massive amount of croonies with the orange.
Prez: Nah.
Congress: Damn, what do we do now?
If the government fails to uphold it's duty, it's up to we the people.
And that's fucking terrifying, isn't it?
