James Islington's "The Will of the Many"

This book is bonkers. It's set in the pretty standard fantasy world hard magic system academy, but it absolutely nails what it's going for.

Secrets, betrayal, insane twists, anti-imperialist

Only problem is book 2 isn't out yet 🤬
