Call me crazy, but I don't think any elected official should be able to cause this much reverberating chaos and change in such a short amount of time. I'd say the same even if I had voted for the person kicking up such a ruckus. I've seen no path forward—just hack-n-slash and "concepts of a plan." - ThreadSky

There are changes with every new administration, sure. But, like, we can't get those forests back once they are logged. We can't go back in time and feed and educate kids we're depriving of those basic needs. We can't bring people back to life after basically killing them by reducing care/benefits.

And I think that's what I'm struggling with the most: why other people don't seem to care about those things... and how they are sticking their heads in the sand, like "la la la, this doesn't affect me so..." It will. It will affect all of us and those who come after. Perhaps irreparably so.
