The total tariff rate on Chinese imports to the US has risen from 7.5% to 17.5% on Feb 3, then 20% on March 3, 54% on April 4, 104% today (April 9), and then 125% after China retaliated. An increase of more than 16 times in a little over two months for the country's third largest trading partner.
