Compose 1.7.7 is out with some important crashes when using LinkAnnotation. Definitely worth making sure you are on the latest BOM to get those fixes!

Navigation 2.9.0-alpha05 is all bug fixes on the surface (many of which were backported to 2.8.X releases), but you may have also noticed that we've started shipping KMP compatible artifacts.

Still all APIs are Android only for this release, but the next one? 👀

Room 2.7.0-alpha13 is out and is most likely the last alpha before Room KMP heads to beta so if there's any last minute API changes you want, now is the time to give that feedback!

Also note the move to targeting Kotlin language 2.0!

Unfortunately no.
We've experimented with it so it is definitely on our radar. But given the userbase, we've decided it is better to cut the 2.7 with existing platforms and consider the web as a follow-up. 2.7 is already a very big release 🤷‍♂️

If you haven't had a chance to look at the XR Compose Material3 library yet, I'd definitely recommend starting up an emulator and playing around with it. Today's 1.0.0-alpha02 release adds a few more hooks and customization options specific for XR.
