We do realize that most of the world watching and sane Americans were cheering for Canada and appreciate it, b nice to go back to us rooting for our country teams and be proud…Canada win is a win for all the good guys:) and the American player played a great game too

Thank you American friends! I am Canadian but married to an American. Had to apologize to my hubs for referring to Team USA as Satan 😂 but he took it well and was happy for us. We’ll get through this together and hopefully once Cheeto is gone we can enjoy a Moosehead and poutine together. 🇨🇦🇺🇸

my seniors apartment building sure was mad at me with not only volume to full on tv but very loud cheering during the game for Canada. Oilers represented ( hometown) several Vegas Golden Knights ( current home) on team Canada used to jokingly refer to VGK as my Canadian boys of the desert.
US team only had 2 VGK players anyway).So with the maple leaf flag in my window and my loud TV and cheering went on for hours. This senior citizen is Quite hoarse today. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
We do! And I wasn't upset by the anthem booing. A local friend explained that Bostonians will boo anything. If Trump had shown up, they'd probably have started throwing things at him.

Yes Boston did save a lot of lives in my hometown in December 1917. Most likely my own grandparents were helped by the train loads of supplies sent. I don't know if Bostonians will ever know the full effect of their ancestors help but Haligonian's do. We won't forget.

I didn’t see or hear a single US Hockey Player criticize Trump’s 51st state plan or the 25% tariffs, so unless I missed something, I was totally cheering for Canada

I am an American and have worked with many Canadians in my job. I can honestly say the Canadians I worked with were the kindest most honorable people. I am ashamed of Trump and did not vote for him and do not share his views. Please know most of us Americans love Canada!
Pretty sure the Finns, Swedes, and most of the rest of the free world were cheering for Canada. Of course Russia was cheering for their newly acquired North American territory - Trumplandia.
