Printer services usually have insurance policies and Terms of Service to protect them from legal actions. I distinctly remember hearing about this before when working at a printer.
Printer services usually print more than when customers order because mistakes can happen during print production, so it helps to print more.
That said, some may keep copies for promotional reasons, save as in shop samples, or use them to try and win print awards.
If you end up doing a phone call, TAKE NOTES and mark the date. People can be sneaky this way, so document what you can.
Don't just pick some random lawyer who collects comics but practices law focused on mortgages. Consult and work with professionals who are subject matter experts because they know to sniff out loop holes.

Would love though if you could include info on whether or not the printers will print anything NSFW ;3; wish it was easier with that topic here in the US....
For now, what I would recommend is asking a printer directly if and when possible unless it's in their FAQs. This way you can confirm it yourself and have that guarantee from the printer directly.
