Long time fan here [42 years long]. No. I was firmly on the "fire Pete" bandwagon, and I have no regrets it happened. I'm also not fond of John. He better knock it out of the park on this draft. We've been stale & "just good enough" for too long.

Before this news even came out today, my STH lash/hair lady was saying that given the team performance & atmosphere, STH are feeling like they are paying too much & will sell individual game tickets even at a loss or to anyone (ie other teams fans) just to try to recoup something. No one wants 1/2

42 year long Seahawks fan here. I've seen the worst years. These last two decades have been relatively good! A rebuild is what we need. Always being "one or two players away" when we aren't has been a slow drag to mediocrity that started after 2016.

I'm willing to endure some pain for a better way.

I really like Geno, but this move makes a ton of sense if they continue to allocate more cap towards DL and begin to allocate more cap to the OL. Roster construction strategy is critical to breaking through the mediocrity barrier.
