4. Trump voters absolutely bear responsibility and blame for their vote. But broadly condemning vast groups of people is an authoritarian tactic and we won’t win using it. We have to support and protect right *for everyone* so that they are strong enough to protect people we care about.

I agree. I am relieved that my first instinct is to feel sad when I hear these stories. Of course, I wanna hear folks come out & admit they were duped by Trump cuz I'm pissed as hell. But it's important to avoid otherism. Stay human.

This has been the trick of US conservatives. Anyone who embraces conservatism is welcomed like a hero. If you’re a pundit or an influential person you can rake in the money. I don’t think that it’s healthy in some cases but it’s a hell of a lot better than being shamed.

Our tolerance of those that are intolerant have put us were we are and. One third of Americans voted to hurt people that look like me. They voted to deconstruct everything that so many have worked and even died for. They did this for hate and willful ignorance. They do deserve condemning.
