Wasn’t Jack and Valentin working together as Pikeman. I don’t know which one was supposed to be Pikeman but they’re responsible for Curtis getting shot and something else I can’t remember.

Jack was in charge when Curtis was shot and Anna’s house was burned down. Valentin “took over” after Jack was arrested. Jack and WSB set Val up to take the fall and don’t want him talking.
Yes but i think he was trying to incapacitate Sonny and avoid killing him which is what Jack intended with Metro Court shooting. We’ll see if they ever give more clarity to the story… doubtful
