Good to see someone else doing it! I think the fandom has a big aversion to signs of aging in a platonic way, but it’s natural and should be drawn like all other features of life. Balding and receding hairlines should be more common! :3

yes, absolutely! and if I may yes-and: not all baldies are even old! my hair was unmistakably going by the time I was 30, and it might have started earlier if I'd done male puberty at the usual age. this is how a lot of us look for most of our lives, why shouldn't we see it in art?

I figure it works similarly to lions' manes, in that hair 'loss' is just a reversion to normal fur, rather than the total disappearance of follicles like in humans. it happens when a lion is neutered--and, I guess, when a furry with baldness genes isn't?

a furry (of a furred species) could disguise balding almost unnoticeably by cutting/dyeing their remaining hair to look like they never had human hair to begin with.

it would be a pain for this guy with white fur and black hair. lotta bleaching to make it match. maybe he's ok the way he is :)

admirable to say the least, I admit I don't think too much about hair. I conceptualize hair as lenthened/dyed fur or part of a mane. Sometimes I draw no hair, which is technically equivalent to bald but not *balding*.

I want to try this hairstyle as a challenge now
